BREAST GEL COMPRESSES, 2 PCS

Akuku® gel compresses are designed with women’s wellbeing during breastfeeding in mind. Made from non-toxic material, they contain no latex, lead or bisphenol. The compresses can be used either cold or warm, depending on your needs. Breast compresses are covered on one side with a soft, gentle fabric that provides comfort and does not cause irritation.

Warm use

Warm compresses help clear blocked milk ducts and relieve mastitis, as well as swollen and engorged breasts. They should be used just before feeding to help milk flow. They can also be used before or during pumping to reduce pumping time by stimulating a faster milk flow.

Method of heating

Place the compress on a baking tray. Set the heating time according to the microwave power: 700W – 16 seconds, 1000W – 13 seconds, or 1250W – 11 seconds. Each compress should be heated separately. After checking the compress’s temperature, you can heat it for a further 5 seconds if needed.

Cold use

Cold compresses soothe sore, swollen breasts caused by engorgement or mastitis. To prevent the wraps from slipping, they can be placed inside the bra.

Method of use

Place the compresses in the freezer for at least 2 hours. Apply the wraps with the fabric-covered side against the skin.

Warnings and care

• Product for external use only – do not use for purposes other than those listed above.
• Use for a maximum of 20 minutes.
• Wash with mild soap and detergent.
• Do not place heavy objects on the compresses.
• Do not use on children.
• Diameter of the wrap: 17 cm.
• Do not heat the packs for longer than the manufacturer recommends. Heating them contrary to the instructions may damage them.
• Always check the temperature of the compresses before use. Excessive heating or prolonged use may cause bodily injury.
• Do not use on sensitive skin or open wounds.
• Use only under adult supervision.
• Do not puncture and/or swallow the contents of the compress.
• Do not fall asleep with the compresses on.
