What to look for in a first balance bike?

• A very low seat: it must be low enough for your child to sit comfortably and touch the ground with their feet; a light bike is also easy to lift
• Lightness and stability: the bike should be easy to manoeuvre and have wide, stable wheels that make balancing easier
• Safe construction: a bike for such a young child should have rounded edges and no small parts that could easily be swallowed; make sure the materials are durable and safe for your little one

A safe steering angle with anti-twist
