What to look for in a first balance bike

• A very low seat – so your child can sit comfortably and touch the ground with their feet
• Lightness and stability – a light material makes the bike easy to lift and steer, and wide, stable wheels make balancing easier
• Safe construction – rounded edges and no small parts that could be swallowed; make sure the materials are durable and safe for your little one

Safe steering angle with anti-twist limiter

More safety: a limited turning angle stops the handlebar from swinging sharply, which could cause a fall or lock the front wheel. Better stability: limiting the turn helps your baby keep their balance – important at the early stage of walking and learning control. Children who have just started walking have limited coordination, and this system makes learning to ride easier, without the risk of sudden, hard-to-control manoeuvres.

Learning to ride for the very youngest

Riding a balance bike effectively helps children gain confidence and belief in their own abilities.
