Nursing pillows are an essential purchase both before and after pregnancy. The ergonomically designed shape fits comfortably around you during pregnancy, providing support and extra comfort. It can also sit comfortably around you while you feed your baby, helping to provide them with the correct posture and support.

The cushions fold over to create a resting area for your baby after feeding, once they can support their own head and neck. As your baby grows, the pillow can be used as a support when sitting, recommended once your child can sit unaided. Alternatively, place your baby on their tummy; this encourages tummy time, which helps strengthen the neck, back and shoulder muscles.

The inner padding is made from fibres that do not lose their shape or compactness over time.

Ways to use the pillow

• Pregnancy pillow – provides support during pregnancy. Simply place it between your knees and ankles to relieve pressure points in your legs or around your back while sitting or resting.
• Feeding pillow – position it comfortably and securely around your waist. It provides support and comfort for both parent and child during breastfeeding or bottle-feeding.
• Rest pillow – allows your child to lie gently on their back and rest comfortably. Recommended once your baby can lift or support their own head and neck.
• Playtime pillow – sit your baby in the pillow’s embrace and use it for support, or place your baby on their tummy to explore. Recommended once your child can sit unaided.
