Why a nest helps newborns sleep

A baby nest is a wonderful solution for the first months of life. This cocoon is a sleeping nest that is smaller and cosier than a cot, so your little one feels as secure as in mummy’s tummy.

Its purpose is to limit the space around the baby, letting them move gradually from the curled foetal position towards lying stretched out. A newborn put straight into a big cot can feel uneasy, suddenly surrounded by far too much space. The soft, high sides shelter your baby and muffle loud sounds for calmer sleep.

The nest has many uses and serves your baby for a long time. Its size is set with drawstrings: tie them tighter or looser and the cocoon grows with your child. Fully untied, it opens into a long, flat sleeping surface whose raised edges still act as a bumper.

ECO FILLBALL filling

Inside is a special certified fibre called ECO FILLBALL – thin, soft fibres rolled into tiny balls with extra air channels. Thanks to this production technology the balls stay fluffy and springy, yet feel as soft and delicate as down and allow good air circulation. The base is attached, so the filling is easy to remove for washing.
