Unfortunately, babies can’t explain why they love their NUK Star so much. But we suspect it’s because it feels pleasant in their mouths – the top of the teat gently follows the roof of the mouth. It has a soft zone, and the material is very thin and exceptionally smooth. At the same time, the bottom of the teat leaves enough room for natural sucking movements. As the teat is narrow and flat, it puts almost no pressure on the teeth and jaw.
A sturdy, reusable storage box is included for safe and hygienic storage. They come in three designs and colours. Each pack contains one silicone soother for babies aged 0-6 months and a box. Product sold in assorted designs.

Instructions for use

• Before first use, boil the soother for 5 minutes (make sure there is enough water in the pan to prevent damage to the soother).
• For hygiene reasons, wash the soother with mild washing-up liquid and sterilise it before each subsequent use. We recommend using a NUK steriliser for disinfection. After washing or sterilising, squeeze any remaining water out of the soother and leave it to dry. This is also for hygiene reasons.
• Do not wash soothers in the dishwasher – cleaning agents may damage them.
• Hygienic cleaning in the microwave: fill the soother storage box with water up to the line on the bottom. Only then place the soother inside. Do not place the box in the centre of the microwave, to ensure even heating and prevent damage to the material.

IMPORTANT

• Heat the closed box according to the heating time and microwave power indicated on the box (engraved)! Also follow the instructions for use! Do not open the microwave for another 5 minutes. Caution: there is a risk of burns even after 5 minutes! Using the wrong amount of water, heating time or power may damage the material! Discard any remaining water. Leave the soothers to dry in the open box. Check the temperature before use! Keep the soother box out of children's reach. This product is intended for NUK soothers only.
• Store in a dry, clean place, away from direct sunlight.
• The MommyFeel soother (0-9M) is specially designed for breastfeeding. After breastfeeding, switch to another NUK soother model.

For your child's safety

• Inspect the product carefully before each use. Pull the soother in every direction. If there are any signs of damage, discard the product.
• Also check the rubber part of the soother, especially when your baby starts teething. Some children bite the rubber part of the soother so hard that they may damage it or even remove it completely. If necessary, give your baby special teething toys.
• Only use soother holders that comply with EN 12586. Never attach cords or straps to the soother, as this may cause strangulation. Do not leave the soother in direct sunlight or near a heat source. Do not leave it in a cold sterilising solution for longer than the manufacturer recommends, as this may weaken the material.
• In rare cases, a child may put the entire soother in their mouth. If this happens, DO NOT PANIC! The soother’s special design prevents the child from swallowing it, and the two holes in the shield allow easy breathing. Remove the soother from the child’s mouth as gently as possible.
• Never dip the soother in sweet substances or medicines, or lick it, as this may cause tooth decay.
• For hygiene and safety reasons, replace the soother after about 1-2 months of use. Even if the soother is not visibly damaged, its quality may have deteriorated. Soothers with a cover: keep the removable cover out of the child’s reach due to the risk of choking.
