THE DOIDY CUP is open-cup training with a unique slant that helps babies during weaning. The Doidy Cup, with two handles, is scientifically designed with a unique slant to teach babies to drink from the rim, NOT from a teat or feeding bottle. The slanted design allows a more natural up-and-down movement of the hands and arms; it teaches babies to drink from an open cup and put it down correctly.

For nearly 70 years since it was developed in 1950, the Doidy Cup’s unique design has helped children see the liquid level and learn hand-eye coordination from an early age.The Doidy Cup with two handles is scientifically designed with a unique slant to teach babies to drink from an open cup rather than a teat or feeding bottle. Healthcare professionals, government* and leading health organisations, such as the British Dietetic Association*, actively recommend using an open cup from around 6 months of age and stopping bottle use completely after 12 months.As well as teaching valuable skills, open cups offer several important health benefits compared with other drinking vessels. DESIGNED – small babies (from around 3 months) can drink easily from the two-handled Doidy Cup because:
• The contents are clearly visible while drinking;
