Chicco PHYSIOFORMA SOFT – SHAPE MATTERS
Chicco PHYSIOFORMA SOFT dummies are designed to support the proper development of the oral cavity. Their anatomical, functional shape helps keep the tongue in the correct position, encouraging natural breathing and proper oral muscle function. The thin base and curved teat tip reflect the physiological position of the palate, supporting healthy development of the speech apparatus. They are designed to support the natural development of the oral cavity. Made from 100% silicone, they are exceptionally gentle on the skin.
How the shape of the PHYSIOFORMA SOFT dummy affects the 5 key functions of a child’s oral cavity:
- Breathing – The dummy’s anatomical shape supports the tongue’s natural position, keeping the airways open and allowing the child to breathe freely through the nose.
- Sucking – Non-nutritive sucking is a fundamental skill for a child. It begins long before birth and has a positive effect on the child’s emotional health.
- Swallowing – The curved dummy tip encourages the tongue to move vertically towards the palate and supports the development of the oral muscles.
- Chewing – The ergonomic shape supports the physiological function of the muscles which, together with correct tongue positioning, is essential for jaw development, tooth growth and chewing quality.
- Speech – The dummy supports the proper development of the oral cavity and speech apparatus, and prepares the child for correct articulation.
Comfort and safety around the clock
The soft silicone material does not cause irritation or leave marks on your child’s delicate skin. Ventilation holes reduce the risk of saliva building up, helping keep the skin dry and healthy. The dummy is designed to keep your child comfortable while sleeping and during everyday activities.
Hygiene and easy sterilisation
Chicco PHYSIOFORMA SOFT dummies come with a practical case that doubles as a steriliser. Simply pour water into the container, place the dummy inside and heat it in the microwave for 3 minutes – a quick, convenient way to maintain hygiene.
