Description
MASTERKIDZ Montessori Sense of Sight Learning Board. Masterkidz learning boards let children develop many skills at once. Each board teaches children how to function in society through different interesting topics and lets them learn about the world around us. You can have several boards and swap them easily, and special frames hold the board perfectly against the wall.
Features
- You can have several boards and swap them easily, and special frames hold the board perfectly against the wall.
- The board can also be used without frames, e.g. on a table or the floor
- the board explains how we use our eyes to gain knowledge about the world around us, about colours, brightness or the shape of objects
- when the child touches the tree (on the left), a light comes on from the lens to the retina
- then the image is converted into light signals that reach the brain and are perceived as sight
- besides the light signals, the child also sees that the tree near the retina is upside down, letting the child see how our brain processes the image when the correctly positioned tree reaches the brain
- the pictures at the bottom of the board show your child that human eyes recognise shapes, colours and brightness
- the board also teaches children to look after their eyesight – don't watch too much TV, don't put anything in your eyes, wear sunglasses in the sun and safety goggles when using chemicals
- Requires batteries to operate
