Description
MASTERKIDZ Montessori Sense of Hearing Learning Board. Masterkidz learning boards let children develop many skills at once. Features
- You can have several boards and swap them easily, and special frames hold the board perfectly against the wall.
- The board can also be used without frames, e.g. on a table or the floor
- Hearing is an important sense in our lives: thanks to it we talk with other people, listen to birdsong or a dog barking.
- when children touch any scene on the board, they hear the matching sound
- the board also has sound buttons for high and low tones
- looking at the wave cards, children hear the difference between them
- the board also explains how sound travels through the air as waves; our ears pick up sound waves and then send the vibration to the brain as a signal
- on the board we also find a transparent tube to show children how sound travels through the air
- every time we switch on a sound on the board, the balls inside the tube should move differently
- the balls vibrate as the sound waves pass through them
- thanks to the board, children can "see" sound waves being transmitted
- the board also explains that volume can vary and that we must protect our ears when the environment is too loud
- Requires batteries to operate
