Wool rugs may shed fibres when new and during use. This is not a defect but a characteristic of natural wool fibres.

Care instructions

Machine wash in a washing machine with a capacity of at least 6 kg. Wash separately from other items on a delicate 30ºC programme without bleach.

Use a mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener.

For rugs with braids, fringes or tassels, choose a low spin speed. Do not leave the wet rug in the washing machine, as coloured yarns may bleed.

Tumble dry at a low temperature.

Avoid drying in direct sunlight.

The rug may shed fibres – this is fibre residue from cutting the cotton and is perfectly normal. For the first few days, we recommend brushing the rug with a stiff brush in the direction of the fibres and then vacuuming it. Robot vacuum cleaners are not recommended.

If there are long or loose threads, cut them off with scissors. Never pull the threads!
