This 100% cotton rug can be washed in a domestic washing machine (8 kg capacity). It has a recycled cotton base that was previously dyed black. The entire rug is woven using a loop technique, giving it a very interesting and pleasant texture.

Washable Rug MEKNES 140x200 cm. The new Morocco collection takes you on a journey to Morocco's fascinating cities without leaving home! The washable Meknes rug is named after one of Morocco's four imperial cities. This 100% cotton rug can be washed in a home washing machine (capacity 8 kg). It has a recycled cotton base that has been dyed black beforehand. The whole rug is woven using the loop technique, which gives it a very interesting and pleasant texture. The predominant colour is black, on which rhombuses of different sizes are drawn in petrol (petrol blue), ash pink, linen and green. The resulting design has a personality that is perfect for a contemporary, modern style, whether in the living room, dining room, bedroom or kids' room. Handmade by artisans with natural dyes, and being 100% cotton, it is light and soft.

Washing instructions

Machine wash (capacity 8 kg or more) separately on a delicate 30ºC programme without bleach.
Use a mild soap and do not use fabric softener.
Do not leave the rug in the machine once the wash has finished, as the colours may run or stain other parts of the rug.
Tumble dry at a low temperature.
Avoid drying in direct sunlight.
Don't worry if lint appears – it is fibre residue left from cutting the cotton. For the first few days, we recommend brushing the rug with a stiff brush in the direction of the pile and then vacuuming it.
If you find long or loose threads, cut them off with scissors. Never pull a thread.
Keep away from fire.
