Kids Garden Bench with Mud Table

Playtime and fun for young explorers! Made from untreated, weather-resistant solid wood, this picnic table is an eye-catcher in the garden, on the patio or on the balcony, and gives children the chance to play creatively outdoors in the fresh air for hours. There is a hidden highlight inside this children's table: lift the two table tops to reveal a wonderful place to play with sand, water and mud! The two removable basins made of sturdy plastic are not only suitable for mud play, with a capacity of 3 litres—they are also perfect for holding sand toys, sand, items collected from nature or water. The seats can be folded away to protect the table from bad weather and allow children to play at the table while standing.

This is a clever, multifunctional seating set for children that can also be used as a mud table, picnic table or table for drawing and crafts. Slots for the plastic tubs make them easier to remove, and a parasol can be fitted into the hole in the centre of the tabletop to provide shade. The angled legs ensure a stable stance; quality wood helps the product last. This is essential, as mud tables encourage children to spend plenty of time trying out new play ideas and experiments: What floats and what sinks? What happens when sand gets wet? What shapes can be made with sand toys? Playing with sand offers a wide range of sensory stimulation, including tactile perception and the development of fine motor skills. To extend the product's life and protect the natural, untreated wood, the table can be treated with a wood-preserving varnish and painted as desired.
