Strategic ships, ships, naval battle An exciting and addictive naval battle game that every parent will remember from their childhood.
The rules are very simple — the player who hits all the enemy ships first wins the round.
To start playing, sit opposite each other and open out the cases so your opponent cannot see the layout you have chosen.
Each player takes five ships — a destroyer, two submarines, a battleship and a transport ship — and arranges them as they wish on the ocean grid at the bottom of their case.
Ships can be placed vertically or horizontally, but not diagonally. Once the game has started, you cannot change the position of your ships.
How to play
Decide who goes first. To try a position chosen by your opponent, for example, say: 7 B. The opponent says whether someone has scored a hit or missed.
If they have scored a hit, they get another chance to reveal the whole ship. Once the enemy ship has sunk, they hand it to the other player, who places it in the special compartment in the case.
The winner is the first player to sink all the enemy ships.
