STEAM through play

STEAM – magnetic tiles are perfect for creating various 2D and 3D shapes, encouraging creativity, fine motor skills, spatial awareness, hand–eye coordination and STEAM concepts. STEAM is an approach to development and learning that combines science, technology, engineering, art and maths – all through play!

Open-ended toys

MNTL is an open-ended toy, meaning there are no predefined rules. Children decide for themselves what they build. This helps express children's creativity and imagination, which benefits their development. They invent something different every time: castles, animals, rockets, vehicles and much more. Nothing is too wild! With this, they surprise not only others but also themselves. That brings pride and extra joy. And the older the child gets, the richer the creation. From 2D to 3D and from flat shapes to tall towers, MNTL grows with every stage of the child's development.

Educational toys

Besides being great fun, MNTL is also an educational toy. Because of its openness, which sets no limits, children learn through discovery. Building with magnetic tiles supports concentration, planning and problem-solving in a natural way.

Learning, compatibility and age recommendation

Besides being very fun, MNTL is also an educational toy. Its openness sparks imagination and creativity, while the different shapes and colours of the blocks mean magnetic building tiles can be used for many different learning goals. MNTL is often used in Montessori education because it stimulates children to learn and try new things independently. Think of learning to sort colours, but also learning letters, making sums and so on. In addition, the good size of the tiles and the grip created by the letter on the plate make MNTL very good for developing motor skills. Children develop playfully this way.

All our magnetic block sets work together and are compatible with all major brands: Picasso Tiles, Connetix, Magna-Tiles and other blocks of the same size and magnet layout. Recommended age: 3+. Children under 36 months should play under parental supervision.
